The following are the particular requirements for the different cities we service within Miami Dade and Broward County. For the convenience our customers, we handle all the permitting and paperwork that the cities require.
The City of Doral enforces a 10% Franchise Fee on the cost of a container.
The City of Coral Gables enforces a 22% Franchise Fee on the cost of a container.
The City of Cutler Bay enforces a 17% Franchise Fee and a $50 permit every 3 months. Distance surcharge applies for this city.
The City of Hialeah requires a permit for each container placed on a property at one time. Permits are $50.00 per permit per container and are valid for 4 months, same applies for permit renewals. Applying for this permit signifies no time delay for our customers.
The City of Hollywood enforces a 30% Franchise Fee on the cost of a container. Distance surcharge applies for this city.
The City of Miami enforces a 24% Franchise Fee on the cost of a container. There is also a $75 permit fee.
The City of Miami Beach requires a permit for each container placed on a property at one time. Permits are at no extra cost to the customer. Permits are valid as long as there is a container on the property or within 72 hours from which a container was last located on the property. Once permits are approved, customers have 30 days to place a container on the property. To apply for this permit, a customer must sign an application (which we supply). Distance surcharge applies for this city.
The City of Miami Beach must approve the application and grant a permit before any container can be placed on a property. The City of Miami Beach may take up to 10 business days to approve an application.
The City of Miami Beach enforces a 20% Franchise Fee on the cost of a container.
The City of Miami Gardens requires a permit to place any amount of containers on a property. Permits are $50.00 and are valid for 90 days, same applies for permit renewals. Applying for this permit signifies no time delay for our customers.
The City of North Miami requires a permit to place any amount of containers on a property. Permits are given at no extra cost to the customer. Applying for this permit signifies no time delay for our customers.
The City of North Miami enforces a 20% Franchise Fee on the cost of a container.
These towns link the construction permit with the container permit so they require the contractor/owner to pull the container permit prior to us servicing them: Bay Harbor, North Bay Village, Palmetto Bay, Surfside & West Miami.
